The ensemble of objects, drawings and watercolours presents itself as a panorama, using the wall itself as a picture plane. The title suggests temporariness, a measurable but limited duration. It can also be applied to the idiosyncratic boundaries of the objects themselves or the way they are positioned on this particular wall. The apparent arbitrariness is a lure — carefully chosen and hung, the components assemble with a coherence of almost mathematical precision.
